Leaders for an Age of Change, Honoring the 2010 AAHSA Award Recipients

The 2010 AAHSA Award winners are leaders of vision, spirit, compassion and commitment. All demonstrate creativity and adaptability in the programs and practices they create. All of them show that, regardless of the uncertainties facing senior care and services over the next generation, our field has the right people in place to continue to create the future of aging services.

Leading-Edge Care and Services Award
Three Oklahoma City members: Oklahoma City Housing Authority, Daily Living Centers, and Baptist Village Communities have formed a vibrant partnership to bring services to older adult and disabled residents of public housing.



Excellence in Leadership Award
George and Phyllis Dotson, Saint Simeon's Episcopal Home, Tulsa Oklahoma George and Phyllis Dotson are fervent ambassadors for the residents of Saint Simeon's in the community who inspire others to get involved. Their concerted efforts have paved the road of success for the home's next 50 years for the seniors who choose to call Saint Simeon's "home."
